53rd World Day of Prayer for Vocations
Holy Rosary Church
Today, April 17, 2016 is Shepherd Sunday and it is a special day. It is also the 53rd World Day of Prayer for Vocation. Brian Miller our former student at Cabrini Academy, Reading, PA, USA and former altar server of Holy Rosary Parish and a parishioner was ordained priest five years ago. Now, he is Rev. Fr. Brian Miller. Presently he is assigned at St. Catharine of Siena, one of the neighboring parishes here in Reading, PA, USA. Today he came to Holy Rosary to give a homily and benediction during our Eucharistic Adoration for Vocation. People who attended the Eucharistic Adoration were very happy and grateful of his availability. These were some parishioners, members of Serra Club of Berks County, Reading and friends who welcomed him and joined Sr. Evelyn Pascua and Sr. Marietta Castellano, sisters of the Daughters of Divine Zeal with their Eucharistic Adoration for Vocation. Everyone enjoyed worshiping the Lord together.
